Laura Thieme’s specialty is new customer acquisition & retention across all forms of digital marketing: Pay-per-click (PPC/SEM), SEO & social media, or email marketing for mid-market companies including retailers & lead-gen B2B. Most mid-market clients spend between $50k-$300k per month. Analytics play a major role regarding all forms of acquisition. Most marketing decisions are based on data collection, interpretation and trend analysis.

In addition to running Bizresearch, Thieme designed & developed Bizwatch, a 10-Minute PPC & SEO Audit automated self-serve platform. Her platform has acquired nearly 700 companies, which utilize Bizwatch’s auditing and reporting software for monthly reports and trend analysis. As of 2018, Bizwatch is no longer being supported or updated.

Thieme continues to advise clients on improving customer acquisition, through paid search/SEM/PPC, social media, SEO and email, analytics and user experience. Her recent focus is on mobile conversion rate optimization (CRO) by working with webmaster and/or vendors.

Guest Lecturer at The Ohio State University, Fisher College of Business

Thieme proposed, developed and re-introduced a challenge marketing course 754, for the business school. Marketing 754 addressed the need for training search marketing & social media analytics. Thieme developed the syllabus and taught 50+ undergraduates, many of whom went onto a successful career in digital marketing, or have since started their own companies.
