Since losing a full-time salaried job on April 29, 2024, one day after seeing my dying father, hourly income declined. I utilized savings, sold the house, sold products I no longer I needed, or never used, utilized stock options, 401k, and liquidated investments to pay the bills. I didn’t want to do this, but I had no choice.
I wrote so many companies and agencies for housing assistance, and other forms of assistance. The one group that really came through was Mercy House. However, other needs include gas cards. When prices are in the $3-$5 range, per gallon, hybrids and gas car owners are in need of gas cards, or someone to help them fill up the tank. Until they figure out their survival to returning to thrive plan and are able to start the trend in a positive direction again.
